Learn More about the Benefits of Restylane Lip Filler

Restylane Lip Filler

If you have noticed your lips deflating, or have always wished for more voluptuous lips, consider Restylane lip filler. Restylane® has a whole line of dermal fillers that are designed to keep you looking young and fresh. Their Silk lip filler is great for plumping up your lips and boosting your self-esteem.

What is Restylane® Lip Filler?

Restylane® Silk is actually the first dermal filler that was approved by the FDA to not only augment the lips but also smooth out the wrinkles around the mouth. The filler is hyaluronic acid-based. When injected, it attracts more water to the area, which makes your results long-lasting.

Designed to be very natural in appearance, the hyaluronic acid molecules in this lip filler are smaller and smoother than those in the other Restylane® options. They are perfect for adding subtle volume that will not have your lips looking “overdone.”

In order to have this treatment, you must be at least 21 years old. It is not recommended for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. At your consultation, we will discuss your medical history and ensure that this is an appropriate treatment option for you.

What to Expect with Restylane Lip Filler Treatment

How long your appointment will last can vary but can usually be done in less than an hour. There is lidocaine in the injections, which will help ensure you are comfortable both during and after treatment. Your results will appear within two weeks of your treatment. Officially, the improvements last roughly six months. Many people have reported enjoying their results for eight months or longer, however.

What are the Benefits of Restylane Lip Filler?

There are several different options out there when it comes to lip augmentation. There are many reasons that Restylane® may be the right one for you. Some of the biggest benefits include:

  • It is completely non-surgical
  • Due to lidocaine in the injections, the treatment is comfortable
  • Results can last for months
  • Appointments are quick and easy
  • There is no downtime after treatment – you can have it done on your lunch break
  • Restylane® Silk is defined to give you subtle, natural results
