From first visit to last treatment with Darcy i was thrilled with the ease and accomodating time slots to get thru my 20 treatments. Dr. Kates was recommended by The VA since the VA does not have a dermatologist in Worcester. I moved out of state and I drive one hour to this practice because I would never go anywhere else. I recently had he pleasure of seeing Delia. She was so professional, competent and kind. She diagnosed my condition immediately, made suggestions and put my mind at ease. From the front office staff, to the nurses and med techs, this practice is the epitome of excellence. When she was with Reliant in Auburn, she gave us a more thorough skin exam that the physicians. That is why we increased our insurance to follow her to MLK Boulevard.

April 11, 2022, In Chelmsford, Dr. Hayes and Nurse Skolnick surgically removed squamous cell carcinoma from my face. During the procedure both verbally calmed my nerves that was extremely helpful. And successfully removed the carcinoma. Sincere interaction with the patient cuts deeper than any scalpel. Best Mohs surgery in 25 years. Highly recommended Thank you. Perry McDonough

I am VERY fair-skinned and have suffered sun-induced second degree burns on my body more than once so, as you can imagine, an annual dermatological exam is not only a must for me, but a stressful and scary endeavor, but because I trust Dr. Kates (and his staff) with my medical (and emotional well-being), I return faithfully each year and sometimes in-between for treatments to remove questionable beings on my skin that seem to appear like magic...hahaha!! I come from a long history of 'doctor-phobic' family members and seek out my doctors very carefully based on their ability to keep me grounded, safe, healthy and most of all, CALM, not to mention, a 'repeat customer.' LOL. When I found Dr. Kates, with his calm and personable demeanor along with his thoroughness, professionalism and ability to not 'alarm' me regardless of the situation, Dr. Kates was a no-brainer !! Dr. Kates' front desk staff and other medical personnel (nurses, PA's, etc.) are AWESOME too and have always been nice, accommodating, engaging and professional. Dr. Kates and his medical staff are always willing to engage in a conversation about whatever is concerning me or just to brain-storm on the latest products that will benefit my efforts to keep my skin healthy. They also ask and converse with me about my life beyond his office and annual exam, etc. And to me, that matters a great deal !!! The BEST thing about Dr. Kates and his staff is walking out of his office with the utmost confidence that I am in the best hands and care I could possibly hope for !! Thank you !! i’ve been a patient of Dr Kates, in his Worcester office, since 2006. I was a lifeguard for 4 years in the era before sun screen and I am a long time sun worshiper and pool owner. Since I’m blond with fair skin, I’ve developed many, mostly, Basal Cell Skin Cancers. I need to see Dr Kates twice a year for examinations, diagnosis, prevention and their eradication. Dr Kates can, instantly, spot skin cancers, like a Hawk can spot prey from thousands of feet away. He is an excellent surgeon, who can remove them deftly and quickly in office - no hospital trips are required. In this Covid19 era, his office and very friendly and professional staff, takes every precaution imaginable, to insure our safety. I’ve visited his office 4 times since June and always feel completely safe. I heavily rely on Dr Kates expertise to spot and remove my skin cancers, while they are new and treatable; I know he has kept me alive for the past 15 years. Thank You, Dr Kates!
